Leeds United will look to recover from their first Championship loss of the season against Sheffield Wednesday on Friday night, and Marcelo Bielsa must make just one key change to his starting lineup.

The Whites fell to a disappointing home loss against Birmingham City last time out, who secured their first victory of the season in the process.

Bielsa’s men still sit at the top of the Championship table with 18 points from their first nine games, with Middlesbrough keeping pace in second on goal difference.

The Argentine doesn’t have too many options to make changes and therefore must keep the vast majority of that side who lost to Birmingham in place, with just one player losing his place.

In goal, Bailey Peacock-Farrell must start as normal.

In defence, a back four of Luke Ayling, Liam Cooper, Pontus Jansson and Barry Douglas must once again be chosen despite their disappointing outing against Birmingham.

In midfield, Kalvin Phillips, Mateusz Klich and Samu Saiz must remain in the side, while Jack Harrison retains his place on the right wing.

The only change that Bielsa must make is to axe the hopeless 5ft 7in mainstay Gjanni Alioski [Transfermarkt], who has been so wasteful in recent weeks, with 27-year-old Stuart Dallas being given a chance to shine from the start for the first time in the Championship this season.

And finally, up front, young Tyler Roberts must retain his place, with Bielsa not really having a choice in that position.
