Sky Sports pundit Chris Kamara reacted on Twitter to two superb goals in the Sheffield Wednesday v Leeds clash on Friday night.

First, Adam Reach scored an absolute wonder goal for Sheffield Wednesday on the stroke of half-time.

From a throw-in, the ball was headed down to him and after one bounce he hit a looping shot from outside the corner of the area over Bailey Peacock-Farrell, onto the far post and back into the net.

It was an unstoppable goal and Leeds fans couldn’t believe their luck after dominating the majority of the first-half.

Sky Sports pundit Chris Kamara was watching and he was driven to Twitter where he asked, “Is that for real that Adam Reach goal for Sheffield Wednesday.”

With four clapping emojis he added, “What a goal”.

However, what Reach can do, Mateusz Klich can answer for Leeds. He scored a brilliant equaliser in the second half – maybe not as spectacular but wonderfully precise and from further out.

It got Kammy back onto Twitter to say that it was no more than Leeds deserved, adding “Quality strike”.

OPINION

Wow. Incredibly John McGinn already has competition for goal of the season after his wonder striker last week. This was one of those shots that you know is heading for the top corner as soon as it leaves the player’s foot, and there was nothing anyone could have done to stop it. Leeds were the better team in the first-half but it was all for nothing after Reach’s goal. However, it didn’t take Leeds long to get back on level terms and it came from another beautiful goal. Which was the better effort? Probably Reach’s – it was spectacular – but there was some real quality about the long-range strike from Klich. Leeds will feel a bit cheated after this game. They should have come away with all three points, registering over 60% of possession away from home and creating over 20 chances. However, they have to make do with one point and they could be knocked off their perch this weekend at the top of the Championship depending on other results. If they can find the end product to their creative, attacking football, they’ll be a force to be reckoned with in the league this season. As it is, they’re a very good side – a fact acknowledged by another Kamara tweet after the game.
