Marcelo Bielsa is set to ring the changes as Leeds United prepare for two demanding away matches in the Championship this week, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

The regional newspaper claim the United manager “is likely to rotate players over the course of a hard week” which also includes a second arduous trip in Saturday’s visit to Norwich City.

Bielsa has named an unchanged side for Leeds’ opening three matches of the league campaign, which has yielded the only 100 per cent record in the division.

If it’s not broke, don’t fix it. That has been the maxim by which Bielsa has operated during his remarkable first few weeks as Leeds manager. With the team demolishing their three league opponents so far, the Argentine alchemist has seen no need to change a starting XI that has been the same for each of the matches. Indeed, he went as far as to name his team in advance two days before the 2-0 win against Rotherham. This report suggests Bielsa will start to take advantage of his squad for the first time ahead of two tricky away matches starting with Leeds’ first trip in seven years to Swansea. That could mean starts for the likes of big-name pair Pontus Jansson and Patrick Bamford, as well as possible promotions for Lewis Baker, Jamie Shackleton and Jack Harrison. Supporters might be nervous about any amendments to a side that has steamrollered all opponents so far, but they will certainly have great trust in Marcelo’s judgement.
