Tottenham are in talks to loan three senior players to Fenerbahce, according to Hurriyet.

The Turkish media outlet claim the club’s sporting director Damien Comolli is in London negotiating the capture of Moussa Sissoko, Georges-Kevin NKoudou and Vincent Janssen on season-long loans.

Hurriyet report the potential capture of France international Sissoko is “given great importance” by Fenerbahce as they prepare to strengthen their team for the Champions League pre-qualifiers.

Good move for Tottenham?

It would certainly be good for Spurs to get Sissoko, NKoudou and Janssen off their wage bill for the 2018-19 campaign. The trio, all of whom were signed in the summer of 2016, have made negligible impact at White Hart Lane, even if Sissoko was spoken warmly of last season by Mauricio Pochettino and was a regular member of the matchday squad. The 28-year-old appears to be the player Fenerbahce want the most as they look to capture a midfield driving force. Striker Janssen had a mixed season on loan at Fenerbahce in 2017-18 but can score regularly in the Super Lig if he steers clear of injury. Like the Dutchman, Nkoudou is not cut out for the Premier League and Spurs will hope he can rediscover his mojo after two years in which his valuation has plummeted.

Likely to happen?

The Turkish media are far from trustworthy when it comes to transfers. It would certainly represent a shock were Fenerbahce to land three Spurs senior men on individual loans. Expect instead one, maybe, two of the outcasts to join the ambitious Turks.
