Ezgjan Alioski completed 90 minutes in the win over QPR on the final day of the Championship season – and Leeds United fans on Twitter destroyed him for his individual performance.
The Whites ended the campaign with a 2-0 home victory at Elland Road and it means they finish 13th in the league table, a whole 15 points shy of the play-off positions.
Kemar Roofe and Kalvin Phillips were both on the scoresheet for the Yorkshire giants, who can now begin planning for a promotion bid next year.
Paul Heckingbottom’s side ended on a positive note after a disappointing campaign and had six points from their final three games, but a poor run since the turn of the year seriously held them back.
Leeds fans on social media singled out attacker Alioski for his individual display against QPR on Sunday and feel that he offered very little in the final third.
The 26-year-old has been a mainstay in the starting XI during his first season with the club and has chipped in with seven goals and six assists.
However, supporters on Twitter turned against him for his final performance of the season and feel that the winger needs to produce more.
