Celtic fans on Twitter are torn over Kristoffer Ajer’s performance in the 2-0 win against Motherwell on Saturday that wrapped up a second domestic treble in a row for the club.
Ajer, 20, has been a mainstay for the Bhoys since December after he was called upon by Brendan Rodgers to have more a of a first team role in the aftermath of the 4-0 defeat to Hearts.
He unsurprisingly started ahead of Jozo Simunovic for the Scottish Cup final at Hampden Park, and managed to help the Hoops keep a clean sheet before he was substituted off in the 76th minute to be replaced by his Bosnian team-mate.
However it appears that Celtic fans were not all on the same page when offering their thoughts on Ajer’s display against Stephen Robinson’s side.
One Hoops supporter claimed that he was “struggling”, while another said that the Norwegian centre-back has been “magnificent”.
Here is a selection of their tweets:

Ajer has made 35 appearances across all competitions for Celtic this term, with the bulk of them coming since the winter break as Rodgers opted to axe Simunovic from being a first team regular.
It will certainly exciting to see the 20-year-old develop at Parkhead over the next few years, especially as he has bags of potential that will surely make him the best defender in Scotland.
