OPINION
This is a massive chance for two of Leeds’ most promising youngsters to stake their claim for a place in the first-team squad next season. Dalby, who joined the club from Leyton Orient in January, has been prolific for the development squad as they have enjoyed a successful second-half of the season. Edmondson, who signed a few months before Dalby from York City, has also been in the goals for the club’s youth sides, and travelled with the squad as they played Norwich City last weekend . Both players will be looking to impress Heckingbottom before he starts shopping around for potential competition this summer, with a big summer window in store for Leeds as they look to build a title-challenging team. In truth though this chance should have come earlier for both starlets, with Leeds having little to play for since March, while their first-team strikers have been massively out of form.
