Pierre-Michel Lasogga completed 79 minutes in the draw against Sunderland on Saturday – and Leeds United fans on Twitter ripped him to shreds for his performance.
The 26-year-old striker was restored to the starting XI by manger Thomas Christiansen for the Championship encounter and was unable to make the difference.
Sunderland, who are 23rd in the league, took the lead early in the second-half through Paddy McNair as they look to get themselves out of relegation trouble.
However, the hosts did hit back at Elland Road as in-form playmaker Pablo Hernandez scored a curling effort inside the penalty area, something that is sure to bring his contract talks further into question.
Whites defender Gaetano Berardi was shown a late red card for his dangerous tackle and the teams ended up sharing the points.
Leeds fans on social media decided to voice their anger towards Lasogga after his display and feel he was very ineffective throughout.
The German centre-forward has scored 10 goals so far this season, but has been heavily criticised for his bullish style and recently been in and out of Heckingbottom’s side.
He was replaced by teammate Caleb Ekuban late on in the tie and the duo are definitely fighting to spearhead the attack.
This Is Futbol has rounded up some of the best tweets:
Lasogga is more clinical than Ekuban, but otherwise… offers so little. Ekuban is comfortably more useful because he actually moves #lufc

Never have I seen a player as lethargic as Lasogga. #lufc

Phillips doing well, couple of bone crunching tackles, the kind of fight we need for this second half! Ps. Is Lasogga still on the pitch? Barely touched the ball? #lufc
