Aston Villa welcome a struggling Leeds United to Villa Park in a Friday evening Championship clash, and Steve Bruce is expected to make two changes from the side that beat Cardiff last time out.

Villa were on course for a stalemate against the Bluebirds, who are one of their main promotion rivals, but a stunning volley from Jack Grealish broke the deadlock and secured an important three points for Bruce.

That win has temporarily reignited Villa’s automatic promotion hopes, but the top two still look out of reach with just four games remaining in the season.

Bruce has a few injury concerns coming into this one with talisman John Terry missing out, with Birkir Bjarnason, Axel Tuanzebe and Alan Hutton the other absentees.

Opponents Leeds have major problems of their own under new boss Paul Heckingbottom, who has won just two of his games in charge since taking the reins in February.

The Whites are missing several key players, especially in defence, and Villa could really get at this Leeds team which is likely to be severely weakened as well as very low on confidence.
