Rangers had to come from two goals down to snatch a 2-2 draw at Motherwell in the Premiership on Saturday, and fans have taken to Twitter to slam the display of Josh Windass.

The hosts took an early lead at Fir Park after Russell Martin conceded a penalty for a reckless challenge on Chris Cadden, with Curtis Main converting the spot-kick.

Main was then involved again as he did well to bully James Tavernier off the ball and set up Alan Campbell, with the teenager slotting well past Wes Foderingham.

Motherwell carried that two goal lead into half-time but found themselves pegged back soon after the break when James Tavernier was brought down in the box and dusted himself off to convert the penalty.

Rangers were level just five minutes later through winger Jamie Murphy, who picked the ball up on the left before firing a low shot through a crowd and past Trevor Carson to score against his former club.

Windass, 24, started for Rangers but was massively ineffective before he was forced off the pitch with an injury on 82 minutes, and fans have taken to Twitter to slam his display.
