Cardoso must be dumped in summer

Fabio Cardoso showed today exactly why he is Rangers’ fourth-choice centre-back. Admittedly, the young Portuguese enforcer has not played for several months, but he was exceptionally bad against Celtic. Seemed to forget one of the basic rules of defending when he let Moussa Dembele get goal side of him for Celtic’s second goal, and was shaky for the rest of the game. Graeme Murty will have to hope that David Bates and Russell Martin’s injuries are not serious, or centre-back could be a massive issue in the coming weeks.
