OPINION

Rangers suffered a massively damaging 3-2 defeat to bitter rivals Celtic at Ibrox on Sunday, and there were several big talking points to take from the game.

Rangers took the lead after just three minutes when Josh Windass found himself clean through on goal after a terrible mistake from Dedryck Boyata before he slammed past Scott Bain.

The Gers did not manage to hang on to their lead for long though as Tom Rogic advanced on the box and curled a beautiful effort past Wes Foderingham.

Rangers then regained their composure and found themselves in the lead again, with Daniel Candeias striking a lovely half-volley through a crowd of Celtic players after a brilliant cross from Declan John.

Celtic managed to hit back just before the break through Moussa Dembele, with the Frenchman easily chipping the onrushing Foderingham after Scott Brown found him with a great ball over the top.

Rangers were then handed a massive chance after the break when Jozo Simunovic was shown red for an elbow on Alfredo Morelos, but it was the Hoops that took the lead through Odsonne Edouard.

The young Frenchman burst down the left wing before being shown inside and curling a beautiful effort past Foderingham to win the match for the Bhoys.
