Paul Heckingbottom hasn’t had the best start as Leeds United manager and must excite fans with his side’s performances next season in order to make up for it.

In order to do this the Whites manager must sign players that are capable of getting supporters off their seats, and Liverpool’s Harry Wilson is a player of that nature.

The 21-year-old winger is currently on loan at Hull City until the end of the season and is currently dazzling fans of the Tigers with his sublime ability.

Despite only joining the Championship side in January, Wilson has already racked up three goals and two assists in the six league appearances he has made for the club.

This shows the player’s ability to excel in England’s second-tier after impressing in the Premier League 2 earlier in the season, which he did by grabbing 10 goals in 12 outings.

Wilson’s continued superb displays this season saw him named in Ryan Giggs’ latest Wales squad.

The 21-year-old even managed to grab his first goal for Wales by scoring in their 6-0 win over China on Thursday.

While Leeds will face tough competition for his signature, the side are more than capable of wooing him to Elland Road on a temporary basis.

Wilson will no doubt be loaned out again by the Reds next season, as he has already admitted that while he wants senior football he’s not confident about his chances of featuring in the Reds’ first-team during the next campaign.

“I have been at Liverpool since the age of eight, so that’s always been my dream to play in the first team,” said the 21-year-old, as quoted by Wales Online.

“So hopefully I can do that, if that’s not to come next season hopefully it will in the future.

“He (Klopp) is a brilliant man manager, so I had a few conversations with him, let him know I wanted senior football and then he told me his view of it.”

So after only winning one game so far as Leeds manager, Heckingbottom must cheer fans up next season by making sure he welcomes Wilson to Elland Road.
