OPINION
Tottenham were just about able to get a win against Premier League strugglers Crystal Palace on Sunday, with Harry Kane scoring late in the game.
Spurs dominated the match but didn’t take the lead until Kane scored in the 88th minute of the fixture, to see earn his side a narrow 1-0 win.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side were heavy favourites going into the game, given the fact they sat fifth in the table, compared to Palace who sat 17th.
Spurs dominated the game, in terms of possession, but only managed to make it count in the last few minutes of the match, as they only had a few clear cut chances in the game.
Pochettino’s side will hope to score more against Rochdale in midweek, after just scraping the win again against Palace.
Spurs are set to play the League One side on Wednesday at Wembley in their FA Cup 5th Round replay.
After the victory against Roy Hodgson’s side, Tottenham move up to fourth in the league.
