Cardiff manager Neil Warnock is eyeing a double Leeds United raid for defender Paul McKay and his twin brother striker Jack McKay, according to Inside Wales Sport.

The news outlet claims that former Whites boss Warnock is planning a raid on his former club after taking two of their young players on trial.

It is understood Cardiff are keen to improve their Under-23s setup and as a result have taken the duo from Elland Road on trial.

Paul McKay, 21, is a centre-back that has made just one senior appearance during his time at Leeds in an FA Cup last season.

Meanwhile, brother Jack McKay is a centre-forward that has not feature for the Yorkshire giants at senior level.

The Scottish pair have been with Leeds since last year after joining from Dundee and are no closer to their big breakthrough yet under Thomas Christiansen.

Good move for Leeds?

It is clearly never good to see young players leave the club, but it seems like neither of the McKay brothers are making a first-team breakthrough anytime soon and are now 21.

The Whites have been keen to promote youth talents through the ranks and the likes of Kalvin Phillips and Ronaldo Vieira are currently shinning for Christiansen’s team.

It could be in the best interests of both parties if the young pair move on to join Warnock at Cardiff, who are keen to oversee a big revamp of their youth system.

Likely to happen?

It seems fairly likely that the McKay twins could depart Leeds after their brief stay as they are on trial with Cardiff.

They will obviously have to pass those trials at the promotion chasing Cardiff, but it seems like they could be done deals if that happens.
