Morgan Schneiderlin completed 61 minutes during the win over Swansea on Monday night – and the club’s supporters destroyed him on Twitter for his performance.

The Toffees completed a 3-1 home win over the Swans in a Premier League clash to lift them up to ninth, while their opponents remained bottom of the pile.

Swansea took the lead after 35 minutes through Leroy Fer as he found space from a corner to tap in for the visitors.

However, Dominic Calvert-Lewin responded on the stroke of half-time as he reacted first to Wayne Rooney’s saved penalty.

Sam Allardyce’s side produced a much better display in the second period as a wonder strike from Gylfi Sigurdsson against his former team and then a second penalty of the game which was this time converted by Rooney.

The Merseyside club have now won four of their last five games to shoot up the table and any fears of relegation have been wiped out.

Everton fans on social media decided to single out Schneiderlin despite the win and feel that the central midfielder really struggled to impose himself on the game.

Schneiderlin has been in and out of the team so far this campaign due to his inconsistent form, with Monday night another poor game for him.

The 28-year-old started alongside Idrissa Gueye in the heart of midfielder, but that gave Everton perhaps too much of a defensive look against a struggling Swansea team.

Tom Davies replaced Schneiderlin in the second-half and he immediately injected the hosts with more energy going forward.
