Leeds United will beat Barnsley if they make four changes to the side that were mauled by Wolves in midweek.

Thomas Christiansen’s side have lost seven out of their last nine league matches, but they showed enough in the early weeks of the season, and in last weekend’s timely win against Middlesbrough, to suggest promotion is a very achievable aim.

The triumph against Garry Monk’s side at Elland Road last Sunday provided some breathing space for Christiansen, who was last week given a vote of confidence by the club’s board.

But the pressure is now firmly back on the Dane, who will be expected to oversee a more competitive performance against Yorkshire rivals Barnsley, who are fighting to avoid getting sucked into a relegation battle.

Changes are needed to make Leeds more difficult to break down, as well as provide more attacking thrust and less predictability to a team that is over-reliant on the brilliant Samuel Saiz.

This Is Futbol has selected a starting XI, featuring four changes from the Molineux match, that can tear apart the 17th-placed hosts, with a call-up for an astonishingly quick attacking player who has the potential to be absolute dynamite in the Championship.
