Liverpool cruised to a 7-0 away victory over Slovenian side Maribor on Tuesday night and got their Champions League group stage campaign back on track.
The Reds had drawn their opening two matches, but now top their European group after hammering Maribor.
Roberto Firmino put the hosts in front after just four minutes as he converted a cross from teammate Mohamed Salah.
Philippe Coutinho then doubled the visitors lead in the 13th minute with a well executed finish on the edge of the box.
Jurgen Klopp’s side continued their dominance as in-form attacker Salah netted two more goals before half-time.
Firmino (two), substitute Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and youngster Trent Alexander-Arnold completed the scoring in the second-half to complete the demolition.
