Eunan O’Kane (Centre-midfield) – Took a painkilling injection to play against Wednesday with cracked ribs, a clear signal of how highly Christiansen regards him. It is expected he will have fully recovered to start against Reading.
Kalvin Phillips (Centre-midfield) – Has started all 11 of Leeds’ league matches this season and his run should continue, but with greater protection to allow him to burst forward and be a force in the opposition box.
Ronaldo Vieira (Centre-midfield) – The darling of 2016-17 could be handed his first league start of the season in a new-look midfield that would make Leeds less vulnerable to counter-attacks. Pulled out of the England Under-20 squad with a knee injury that was said to be minor and should be fit to play on Saturday.
