Three senior Rangers players under huge pressure to perform after Alves ruled out v Celtic

|

1. Ross McCrorie

What a week this has been for the 19-year-old defender.

After coming up through the Rangers youth ranks and spending a couple of periods out on loan with Ayr United and Dumbarton, McCrorie made his senior debut for the Gers on Tuesday.

When Bruno Alves limped out of the game in the 76th minute, McCrorie stepped up and put in a performance that delighted fans and Caixinha alike.

Now he’s set for a full-blooded Old Firm clash.

He’ll be pumped for it but it’s the job of the senior players and his manager to keep him calm and focused on the job at hand.

The atmosphere at the Ibrox on Saturday will be immense and it’s important he gets into the game straight away.
