Rangers fans have reacted with dismay to the shock news that Bruno Alves is reportedly out of the Old Firm clash with Celtic on Saturday.
EstConsultancy, which is a reliable source of news for Rangers, tweeted the news that 19-year-old Ross McCrorie was set to start the crunch game, with Bruno Alves injured.

The loss of the veteran Alves would be a huge blow for Rangers, with the 19-year-old McCrorie the most likely replacement.
McCrorie stepped in for the midweek cup game after Alves limped out of the match.
He performed well and Rangers earned a 3-1 victory after extra time, but Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha would have preferred not to start him in the cauldron of an Old Firm in only his second Rangers appearance.
However, it looks like his hand might be forced and Rangers fans are concerned at the prospect.

@RangersFC you confirm that Bruno Alves has departed these shores for sunnier climes in a medical room in Madrid.

So people are seriously suggesting on here that Alves is faking his injury because he is scared to play tomorrow? I don't see it.
