Morgan Schneiderlin 3 – All over the place for the first goal, when the ball swung through, hit him on the back and dropped to Masiello. Terrible throughout from the 27-year-old. One of the worst displays we’ve seen from a quality player.

Mo Besic 3 – At fault for the first Atalanta goal when he switched off in the box, and even more so for the third. Was sloppy throughout and drew the ire from the Everton fans. Extremely poor performance that either says he’s not good enough or doesn’t care enough.

Nikola Vlasic 4 – It’s hard to give Vlasic a rating as we honestly can’t remember him touching the ball. Should have done more to force himself into the game but this was his debut and it can’t have been easy.
