Moussa Sissoko made his fourth consecutive Tottenham appearance in their 3-0 Champions League win over Apoel on Tuesday night – and fans took to Twitter to hail the midfielder.
A Harry Kane hat-trick ensured a depleted Spurs were able to secure a second win from two group stage matches and put them in an excellent position to reach the knockout stages.
Sissoko, who was used in an attacking midfield role in the absence of the ill Christian Eriksen, also played a crucial part in the victory by delivering the cross to the edge of the penalty area in the 62nd minute that Kane calmly stroked into the net for his second goal.
The contribution of Sissoko, who played 84 minutes of the match in Cyprus, was proof of his growing influence as he tries to rebuild his career after a wretched debut season following his £30million transfer from Newcastle United in the summer of 2016.
Tottenham fans took to social media to express their appreciation at what they regard as an improvement from the France international and believe he deserves credit for his performance against Apoel.

So this season so far –
Sissoko has been better than Dembele & Jan has been better than Toby. No one in the world is better than Kane #coys— michael (@michael_JEMS) September 26, 2017
#COYS Kane is being praised so much tonight. What about the three perfect passes from Toby, Sissoko and Trips?
