Thomas Christiansen needs to add a centre-back to his Leeds squad with two weeks left in the current transfer window.

Liam Cooper and Matthew Pennington were both missing from the Yorkshire giants squad against Fulham on Tuesday night, leaving youngster Conor Shaughnessy to fill the void.

With a new centre-back required, This Is Futbol has picked out one dream signing and a reality one that Leeds could look to lure to Elland Road this summer.

Dream: Aden Flint

The Daily Mirror claim the 28-year-old is interesting both Leeds and Birmingham City this summer, despite Bristol City owner Steve Lansdown stating that he would only let him go for an eight-figure fee.

Bristol Post quoted Lansdown as saying that he would “take £10m” for the Robins captain, which would be the biggest transfer fee Leeds have spent on a player since their Premier League days.

Flint is renowned as a goalscoring defender at Ashton Gate, scoring 29 goals in his 201 appearances for Lee Johnson’s side.

Playing a pivotal role in City’s fight against relegation last season, Flint could now leave the club this summer and he would be a major coup at Elland Road.

With Flint on side, Leeds would almost certainly push themselves towards a return to the Premier League for the first time in 13 years if Whites owner Andrea Radrizzani is willing to stump up the necessary cash.
