Young goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell has joined Oldham in Bath for their pre-season training ahead of his expected loan move to the League One side, according to reliable journalist Phil Hay.

The Yorkshire Evening Post chief football writer has claimed on his personal Twitter account on Tuesday that the 20-year-old is currently with the League One club for their four-day training camp at the University of Bath ahead of his temporary transfer move.

The Tuesday Tweet follows claims from the Yorkshire Evening Post journalist stating that Peacock-Farrell will now move out on loan after agreeing a new three-year contract at the club on Sunday.

It is believed that Leeds want the emerging ace to gain more first team experience and Oldham previously served the club well in regards to forward Lee Erwin last season.

Peacock-Farrell has so far been restricted to just one first team appearance in his short professional career, which came all the way back in May 2016 when Steve Evans was manager in a 1-1 draw with QPR.

However, the extension of his contract shows that Leeds have big plans for the goalkeeper and with veteran Rob Green entering his final years he could be viewed as the long-term replacement.
