Left-back Danny Rose is the latest key Tottenham player to be open to a move away from north London this summer, according to the Evening Standard.

The news outlet have detailed on their website that the 27-year-old would not be adverse to leaving Spurs this summer and Premier League rivals Manchester City launched a new enquiry for the full-back star after entering talks over a £50million move for Kyle Walker.

However, Tottenham are said to have emphatically rebuffed the cash-rich top-flight side for Rose and it is detailed that the chances of Mauricio Pochettino’s side allowing both key full-backs to depart this window are “remote at best.”

The report follows claims from BBC journalist David Ornstein that Walker is set to undergo a medical with Pep Guardiola’s side, while ESPN reported that Manchester United believed Spurs first team regular Eric Dier was keen on a move to Old Trafford.

It is believed by many that Tottenham will have some trouble in retaining some of their key squad members this summer with the top Premier League sides able to offer higher wages.

However, tough negotiator Daniel Levy will be sure to do his best to keep hold of players such as Rose, who has been at the club since 2007 and still has four years remaining on his contract.
