Old Firm rivalry to reach new heights
Signing another former Celtic star in McGeady is likely to reignite the rivalry between the two Glasgow enemies, as both sides look to go head to head during 2017-18.
The rivalry died off a little towards the end of the 2016-17 campaign after Celtic had won five of the six games between the two sides, but the 89-time Ireland’s quality would see the Gers match the Hoops next season.
With ex-Celt Kenny Miller already plying his trade for Rangers, the hostility will be at an all-time high between the two sides on matchday if McGeady puts pen to paper on a deal with the Gers.
