Former Celtic striker Dion Dublin believes that Moussa Dembele should evaluate his future with the Scottish champions at the end of next season.

The Sunday Post has reported that the Bhoys have received a number of bids for the 21-year-old, but none of them have reached their valuation of £32million as of yet despite a host of top teams pursuing his signature.

The ex-Fulham forward was one of the key parts in helping Brendan Rodgers’ team achieve a domestic treble without a single defeat last season as he blow opponents away with his incredibly goal scoring talents.

Dembele netted 32 goals in 49 appearances across all competitions, but suffered a number of injuries in the second half of the campaign which let to him sitting on the bench for the Scottish Cup final win against Aberdeen.

Dublin, 48, played for a number of top clubs during his career and should be considered as a very good source of advice for Celtic’s Frenchman.

The former Man United man has suggested that the time might be right for Dembele to leave Parkhead next summer, but maintains that a bid of at least £30million would be hard for Celtic to turn down.

“Celtic worked very hard to scout him from Fulham and then persuade him to move to Scottish football,” he said, as quoted by the Sunday Post.

“But if a club offers in excess of something like £30million, then I would totally understand if Celtic couldn’t reject a sum of that amount.

“I’d say to Moussa to stay with the club for this season, get another 40 or 50 games under your belt and then review the situation at the end of the season.

“He is still only 21 and has at least 12 or 13 years ahead of him at a very high level.”
