Huddersfield’s loss is Benitez’s gain
With both newly-promoted sides Newcastle and Huddersfield likely to be fighting against relegation next season following their climb from the Championship, the Toon would benefit two-fold from the signing of Ince.
Signing the versatile attacker would see Newcastle benefit from Ince’s qualities such as his pace, eye for goal and trickery out wide, but even more so in that Huddersfield will miss out on the winger.
That could provide Newcastle with the pivotal difference when the two sides face each other in the Premier League, as well as the run-in towards the end of the season should both sides be in the thick of a relegation dogfight.
