Gouffran future: Toon need wingers
Frencham Yoann Gouffran has seen his contract expire at St. James’ Park, despite reportedly remaining in talks with the Toon over a new deal.
Evening Chronicle reporter Lee Ryder revealed on his personal Twitter account that the Toon are in discussions with the former Bordeaux winger’s representatives over a new contract.
Gouffran now out of contract with #nufc but his agent still having discussions on new deal with Newcastle.

If the Magpies and Newcastle fail to come to an agreement over Gouffran’s future, Benitez will be left with just Matt Ritchie and Christian Atsu on the flanks and signing Ince would give them both quality out wide and much-needed depth.
