With winger Yoan Gouffran set to join the Turkish club Goztepe SK instead of renewing his contract with Newcastle, it gives the opportunity for Hull City winger Kamil Grosicki to slot straight into the Magpies squad.
Despite being part of the relegated squad, the 29-year-old showed that he has the flare for Premier League football which should be picked up by Benitez.
The Poland international joined Hull from Stade Rennais in January this year and he impressed during his six months in the Tigers’ jersey.
Since joining, the winger made 15 appearances for the former Premier League club and despite the fact that he didn’t score any goals he was still awarded the Player of the Month in April.
Grosicki exerts a passionate style of play on the pitch and also gets stuck into the defensive aspect of each match, which will be appealing to Benitez.
With Hull now in the Championship the Toon boss will be able to lure the attacker to the Tyneside club with the promise of top flight football.
