Scottish giants Rangers have tabled a bid of just under £1million for Norwich City midfielder Graham Dorrans, according to Sky Sports Scotland.

The Gers have already been busy in this transfer window, and they announced the arrivals of Ryan Jack from Aberdeen and Bruno Alves from Cagliari earlier this week.

The broadcaster posted a message on its official Twitter account announcing the news.

This comes after the Daily Mail reported that the Canaries wanted £1.5million for the 30-year-old and that talks between the two clubs had been scheduled to take place this past week.

Richard Gough has urged Gers manager Pedro Caixinha to sign Dorrans in the past, and they look to have taken his advice and have tabled an offer.

Dorrans was a mainstay of Norwich’s midfield this term, making 26 appearances in all competitions, scoring six goals.

The Scottish ace was utilised all over manager Daniel Farke’s midfield during the 2016/17 campaign, playing on the right, the left and centrally.

He arrived at Carrow Road in the summer of 2015 in a £3.5million switch from West Brom, and he has since made 67 appearances in all competitions for the club.

Caixinha is looking to overhaul his squad this summer, and the 11-time Scotland international looks to be his next target.
