Rangers kicked-off their 2017-18 campaign with a 1-0 win over Proges Niederkorn in the Europa League first-qualifying round first-leg at Ibrox on Thursday night.

The Scottish club have been called early into action just over a month after their final league game of the previous campaign, due to their European commitments, and they began with an important victory.

Manager Pedro Caixinha marked the occasion by naming as many as three of his summer signings in his starting eleven, allowing Rangers fans to witness their talents for the first time in a competitive fixture.

But he also added vital experience to his ranks in some of his more regular performers, including veteran attacker Kenny Miller, and it proved an important factor in negotiating a first-leg lead.

It was Miller who had opened the scoring for the home side in the 37th-minute, but despite fashioning multiple opportunities to extend their lead, Rangers will take just a one goal lead into the second-leg in Luxembourg.

This is Futbol rates the 11 Rangers players named in the starting line up out of 10, including new signings Dalcio, Ryan Jack and Fabio Cardoso.
