Martin Skrtel
Benitez introduced Skrtel to Premier League football when he signed him for Liverpool during the 2008 January transfer window.
The 32-year-old defender went on to enjoy eight fantastic years at Anfield where he was able to pick up a League Cup trophy.
During his time in English football, the Slovakian earned a reputation for being a no-nonsense defender and he was rarely bullied off the football pitch.
Skrtel is a player with vast Premier League experience with over 200 appearances to his name.
The Slovakia international left Merseyside to join Turkish giants Fenerbache at the start of the 2016-17 campaign and he was an instant first-team regular, making 49 appearances in all competitions and scoring three goals.
Skrtel would be able to provide Benitez with more options and experience in defence next season.
