Leeds should bin plans to sign FC Twente midfielder Mateusz Klich and focus their attention on five other midfielders to have shone in the Eredivisie last season.
Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf claim Twente are currently locked in negotiations with the Elland Road outfit over a possible summer switch for the 10-time Poland international.
Klich’s six goals and four assists for Twente this season in the flight of Dutch football will have no doubt caught the eye, but he could do little about his side finishing in a disappointing seventh place.
New Leeds boss Thomas Christiansen will be desperate to add to his side this summer and bring in the right recruits in order to go one better and secure a place in the Championship play-offs, or perhaps even better.
