Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochetino has revealed that he is always looking to improve with some signings ahead of the summer transfer window.

Spurs go into the market with good spirits as they can offer Champions League football next season, plus they will be making the temporary switch to Wembley Stadium.

The north London club have guaranteed a second-placed finish in the Premier League and are beginning to establish themselves at the top-end of the table.

Pochettino has already assembled a strong squad during his time with Spurs and has ensured the club’s highest league finish since 1963.

However, the 45-year-old has insisted that he will be looking to add further to his squad in the summer.

“Always in life you cannot stay happy with what you’re doing now. You need to improve, improve,” Pochettino said, as quoted by ESPN correspondent Dan Kilpatrick on his personal Twitter account.

Pochettino has expressed his intention to improve in the summer and it will take a high calibre of player to force their way into the starting line-up.

Many pundits have argued have the best side in the Premier League and the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen make their attack irresistible.

Meanwhile, they are built on a solid defence and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has helped them keep the best defensive record in the top flight.

They are well covered in most areas too, with Kieran Trippier and Ben Davies proving to be excellent understudies for Kyle Walker and Danny Rose in the full-back areas.

However, Pochettino may feel that he need a strong transfer window after a disappointing one last season.

Victor Wanyama has been the standout signing to make a positive impact this campainn, but the likes of Vincent Janssen, Georges-Kevin N’Koudou and Vincent Janssen have all disappointed.
