Josip Ilicic

According to reports from The Express, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur target Josip Ilicic will consider a summer move if his club receives a ‘good offer’ during the coming transfer window.

The Fiorentina midfielder has been in superb form so far this season, bagging twelve goals and five assists in 24 Serie A appearances whilst averaging 1.7 created chances, 1.3 successful dribbles and 2.6 shots per match.

Tottenham Hotspur are known long-term admirers of the 28-year-old and reportedly attempted to bring him to the Premier League in a £5.5million transfer deal last summer, whilst Liverpool have also been mooted as potential summer suitors.

And the 36-cap Slovenian international has strongly hinted he would be open to completing a summer transfer to the Premier League, as interest in his services continues to grow ahead of the coming transfer window.

As quoted by The Express, the 6 foot 3 attacker recently told reporters; “It’s normal to be associated with other teams when you play for so many years in the same club.

“If we were to get a good offer in the summer, I definitely would speak with my leadership. In this case, we would find a solution that satisfies everyone.”

Along with Ilicic, Liverpool are reportedly targeting fellow Fiorentina stars Matias Fernandez and Khouma Babacar.
