According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Liverpool youngster Joao Carlos Teixeira has agreed a deal in principle with Fiorentina; whilst The Times report that Antonio Conte wants Chelsea to sign Roma midfield duo Miralem Pjanic and Radja Nainggolan.
The attacking midfielder was signed from Sporting Lisbon in January 2012 but hasn’t progressed as expected. He’s now 23 years of age and has registered just eight senior appearances for the Reds, instead finding himself out on loan to Brentford and Brighton in the Football League.
The Portugal U21’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season and according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, he’s already ‘agreed a deal in principle’ to leave Anfield for Fiorentina on a free transfer. Manager Paulo Sousa is an avid fan and Viola are hoping Teixeira’s arrival will stop him leaving for the soon-to-be-vacated hot seat at Zenit.

Meanwhile, The Times report that Chelsea-bound Italy manager Antonio Conte has recommended the west London club target Roma midfield duo Miralem Pjanic and Radja Nainggolan. The Blues’ interest in the latter, an industrious Belgium international who offers determination and dynamism, has been documented frequently over the last few weeks.
Pjanic, on the other hand, is a technically gifted playmaker not dissimilar in style to Cesc Fabregas. He’s been in top form this season, claiming nine goals and eight assists in 24 Serie A appearances, and at 25 years of age appears ready to test himself at a higher level. With Nainggolan and Pjanic seen as key players at the Stadio Olimpico, however, convincing Roma to sell both in the same transfer window will require a considerable sum.
