1st - Romelu Lukaku

According to The Sun, Everton striker Romelu Lukaku is set to snub a move to Manchester United next summer; whilst Mirror Football report that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is ready to cash-in on injured frontman Daniel Sturridge.

Belgium international Lukaku has risen to the top of the Premier League’s scoring charts during the hectic winter period, bagging 15 goals and five assists in 20 outings this term. That scintillating form saw the 22-year-old linked with a £40million move to Manchester United earlier this week, amid claims he’s become Louis van Gaal’s ‘main forward target‘ for summer 2016.

But The Sun allege that the 6 foot 3 goalscorer will reject the Red Devils’ summer advances in favour of a move to a foreign club instead, with Ligue 1 champions PSG and La Liga giants Real Madrid topping his list of preferred next employers.

Meanwhile, Mirror Football report that Jurgen Klopp is ready to cash-in on crocked striker Daniel Sturridge, who has clocked up just 106 minutes of playing time since the German gaffer took Anfield’s managerial reigns from Brendan Rodgers in October.

The England international has bagged 44 goals in 72 appearances for the Reds – including 37 goals in the Premier League – but he’s managed just 17 league outings over the last 18 months amid a spate of recurring injury problems.

Mirror Football claim Klopp has grown so frustrated with Sturridge’s fitness issues that he’s now ready to listen to offers of around £25million for the 26-year-old.
