According to reports from Mirror Football, Everton star Romelu Lukaku has emerged as Manchester United’s ‘main forward target’.
The Belgium international has fired his way to the top of the Premier League’s scoring charts over the last few weeks, now boasting 15 goals and five assists in 20 appearances following a stunning brace against Stoke City in late December.

The 22-year-old’s mesmerising form has lead to plenty of speculation over his future at Goodison Park. Indeed, Manchester United have been linked on several occasions already this season and a This Is Futbol poll exclusively revealed in December that Lukaku is the striker most Red Devils fans want their club to target during the January transfer window.
Mirror Football claim the £40million-rated striker has emerged as United’s ‘main forward target’, after deeming Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane unattainable for the foreseeable future. The Old Trafford outfit are keen to test Everton’s resolve but remain aware that the chances of a bid being accepted this month are incredibly unlikely – especially with the Toffees in the bottom half of the table.
Resultantly, Lukaku looks set to become part of yet another huge summer spending spree from United, as chief executive Ed Woodward aims to revamp a side that has scored the fewest goals of any club in the Premier League’s top six this season.
Dead good you, Christy! Now you’ve got something to write about besides John Stones. Dead clever you. Nothing gets away from you.
I get paid to write these articles, you comment on every single one I write for free. Who’s the bigger idiot?
Oh, and the THIS IS FUTBOL poll. What a great touch. That’s the clincher. Everton are just gonna lie down and DIE when they hear about that.
You realise there is a difference between a club making a bid for a player and a club accepting that bid, don’t you? Where in this article does it say Everton will sell Lukaku? And where does it say they’ll sell him because of our poll? Nowhere. You need some hobbies mate, this is getting psycho levels of obsessive trolling.
