According to Goal, Chelsea have inquired into the availability of Real Madrid right-back Dani Carvajal; whilst The Express report that Arsenal are considering a bid for Hull City striker Abel Hernandez.

The Spain international has seen his game-time dramatically slashed since the €31.5million arrival of fellow No.2 Danilo last summer, going on to register just eight starts out of a possible 21 in La Liga this season.

According to Goal, who cite Spanish publication Fichajes, that has generated interest from Chelsea, who are reportedly in the market for another right-back despite recently issuing Branislav Ivanovic a one-year contract extension.

They’ve now contacted Real Madrid over a potential transfer, but the La Liga giants’ two-window ban could prevent a deal from taking place.

Meanwhile, The Express report that Arsenal are considering a bid for Hull City frontman Abel Hernandez.

The Uruguay international struggled for form as the Tigers plummeted out of the top flight last season but has been finding the net for fun in the Championship this year, netting 15 times in 21 league outings.

Citing Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, The Express claim the Gunners could swoop for the 25-year-old in the summer. Hull’s willingness to sell, however, could well depend on whether they secure promotion back to the Premier League.
