10. Romelu Lukaku

According to reports from Mirror Football yesterday afternoon, Everton’s star centre-forward Romelu Lukaku has revealed his desire to play under Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

The 22 year-old has enjoyed a strong start to the season, bagging four goals and two assists in seven Premier League appearances, following a rather forgettable 2014/15 campaign from the 6 foot 3 striker.

Arsenal targeted a number of coveted front-men during the summer, most notably PSG’s Edinson Cavani and Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema, but eventually finished the transfer window as the only club in Europe’s five leading top flights not to sign an outfield player.

According to Mirror Football, however, they may well have found better luck chasing Lukaku, the beastly Belgium international with eleven goals and 40 caps for his country, who has revealed that he’d one day like to play under Gunners gaffer Arsene Wenger.

But the Toffees striker also wants the opportunity to work with Jose Mourinho again.

The former Blue was on the Stamford Bridge books for three years but two of them were spent on loan at West Bromwich Albion and Everton, before the latter signed him permanently for a club-record £28million fee last summer. He only ever made three appearances under The Special One.

Speaking to Belgian magazine Le Vif, Lukaku said: “Mourinho is one. (Pep) Guardiola and Wenger. In this order.”
