According to reports from Marca this afternoon, in-demand PSG winger Ezequiel Lavezzi may have agreed a shock move to Barcelona.

The Argentina international, who started for his country in last summer’s World Cup final against Germany, has bagged 33 goals in 139 appearances for the Parisians, helping fire them to three consecutive Ligue 1 titles.

But the winger-forward’s game-time has continually declined over the last few years, receiving just 19 starts in Ligue 1 last term and only two from a possible eight this season.

The 30 year-old hinted last month that he intends to leave Parc de Princes upon the expiration of his contract at the end of the season, quickly leading to reports of interest from long-term admirers Arsenal and Liverpool. Some reports even claim the Anfield outfit have already ‘made contact‘ over a potential January move.

But according to Marca, who cite reports from Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport, Lavezzi may have already agreed a shock move to Barcelona in summer 2016.

They claim he’ll receive a three-year contract worth €12million in total and Argentina team-mates Lionel Messi and Javier Mascherano have been particularly influential in sealing the deal.
