According to reports from The Telegraph, Southampton have rejected a £20million Manchester United bid for star midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.
After nearly forcing his way out of St. Mary’s twelve months ago, the France international is almost certain to leave the south coast this summer, with Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham all linked to his signature.
Manchester United are believed to be in pole position after Schneiderlin revealed last week that he hoped to conclude a deal before pre-season restarted at St. Mary’s – which is now underway. Some sources even claim the 25 year-old has already agreed personal terms with the Red Devils.
The two clubs, however, are yet to agree on a price. According to The Telegraph, United launched a £20million bid last week but it has since been rejected, with Ronald Koeman’ side valuing the 6 foot 2 midfielder at £25million.
But the British newspaper do expect the Red Devils to return with an improved offer.
