According to reports from Mirror Football this morning, Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos is determined to leave the Bernabeu this summer – with Manchester duo City and United currently courting his services.

The 2010 World Cup winner’s future at the Bernabeu is shrouded in serious doubt following allegations from Barcelona presidential candidate Jordi Majo last month; who claims he was recently offered the centre-back as an ‘electoral asset’ for the club’s ballot on July 18th.

It’s believed to have been a ploy to secure the Spain international a better contract in Madrid but has now lead to a series of bids from Manchester United and interest from their local rivals Manchester City.

And according to Mirror Football, who cite Spanish publication Marca, the 29 year-old is now determined to force his way out of Madrid this summer in search of a new challenge.

Los Blancos have already been linked with a number of potential replacements and a recent poll has revealed 55% of Real Madrid fans would be prepared to sell Ramos this summer.

Currently, however, a deal is still some way off. United have seen a £28.6million bid rejected, with Real Madrid apparently valuing their vice-captain at £63million.
