According to reports from The Daily Mail this morning, the agent of Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan has strongly hinted Real Madrid are interested in his client’s services.
The Belgium international has performed well during his 18 months at the Stadio Olimpico, this term netting five times in 35 Serie A appearances whilst averaging 2.5 tackles and one created chance per match.
Currently co-owned by the Italian capital outfit along with divisional rivals Cagliari, however, Nainggolan admitted in March that there’s a ‘50% chance‘ of him leaving the Serie A runners-up during the summer transfer window.
Liverpool and Manchester United are both known suitors of the 27 year-old, with reports in April claiming the latter club were preparing a £26million offer for the former Piacenza youngster.
But according to agent Ludovico Spinosi, La Liga giants Real Madrid are also pursuing the combative midfielder and could launch a summer bid.
“I believe Nainggolan will stay at Roma, although when you are talking about Real Madrid, things can change,” Spinosi told IlSussidiario.net, as quoted by The Daily Mail.
“‘[Roma president James] Pallotta knows that Nainggolan is very important for Roma and could have many offers for the player. Keep an eye out for Real Madrid,” he added.
