According to reports from The Express this afternoon, Manchester United have agreed a £13.1million deal to sign Hoffenheim talisman Roberto Firmino.
The attacking midfielder has been in sensational form over the last two campaigns, bagging 23 goals and 21 assists in 66 Bundesliga outings.
That’s seen the 23 year-old ascend to starting status within the Brazil fold, netting thrice and claiming six caps since his international debut in October, and also attract interest from some of the Premier League’s top clubs.

As This Is Futbol revealed in May, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United were all reported to be courting the Selecao star’s signature, whilst Firmino’s agent, Roger Wittmann, admitted earlier this month that he expects his client to move abroad this summer.
And according to The Express, who source ESPN, it’s the Red Devils who have won the race to sign the former Figueirense youngster. They claim a £13.1million fee has now been agreed between United and Hoffenheim – although both clubs are yet to officially confirm the move.
