Andre Ayew

According to reports from Here Is The City, Tottenham Hotspur manager Maurico Pochettino has held talks with Marseille winger-forward Andre Ayew in regards to a summer move.

The news follows reports from London 24 earlier this week, claiming Liverpool have dropped out of the race to sign the Ghana international in an effort to pursue more coveted targets.

As This Is Futbol revealed last month, Spurs are looking to improve three key areas this summer; central midfield, central defence and wide-forward; and the Marseille man would be an ideal addition for the latter position, boasting 58 goals in 188 appearances throughout his L’OM career.

He’s also netted eleven times in 65 appearances for Ghana, and claimed the Goal King (top scorer) award at the 2015 African Cup of Nations.

According to HITC, Pochettino has already held negotiations over the bizarre platform of Skype.

But the north Londoners are by no means Ayew’s only suitors; set to leave Stade Velodrome on a free transfer this summer, he’s been linked to West Ham, Swansea, Newcastle, Wolfsburg, Napoli and Dortmund – as claimed by London 24 – and the Welsh club have already made a contract offer – as This Is Futbol revealed last month.
