Alexandre Lacazette

According to reports from The Express this morning, Premier League trio Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City are prepared to meet Lyon’s £35million valuation of star striker Alexandre Lacazette.

The France international has been in phenomenal form to net 30 times in all competitions this season. In fact, his 26 league goals is only bettered throughout Europe’s five leading top flights by El Clasico duo Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

The winger-come-striker’s 22-goal haul last season attracted plenty of Premier League interest during summer 2014, but he eventually snubbed advances from Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle to extent his Stade de Gerland contract until 2018 – as reported by The Express in September.

But after another potent campaign, England’s top clubs are widely expected to try and prize the 23 year-old away from Lyon once again this summer, and according to the British tabloids, they’re more than prepared to match his £35million valuation.

Due to such widespread interest in Lacazette, however, his price-tag could further soar before the official opening of the summer transfer window.
