Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy could reportedly look to get rid of Fabio Paratici as well as Antonio Conte.
With the Spurs manager supposedly close to getting sacked following a disappointing run of results and a fiery outburst in his latest press conference, it has now been claimed that another figure close to Conte could also be packing his bags.
According to a recent report from Calciomercato (via Sport Witness), Paratici is at risk of potentially following Conte out of the exit door at Spurs after convincing Levy to hire the former Chelsea and Inter Milan head coach.
Spurs appointed Paratici as their managing director of football back in June 2021 and have since seen the former Juventus figure not only see Conte get appointed as manager at the north London club, but also bring in players such as Rodrigo Bentancur, Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison among others.
Focusing on the manager, the 53-year-old has taken charge of 76 matches with the Lilywhites across all competitions, winning 41, drawing 12 and losing 23.
This season has seen the north London club get knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Nottingham Forest, knocked out of the FA Cup by Sheffield United and fail to get past AC Milan in the last 16 round of the Champions League.
Should Spurs get rid of Fabio Paratici?
Then in the Premier League, the club are currently fourth in the table with 49 points on the board, but have a number of clubs around them with games in hand, meaning that their place in the top four could be in danger by the end of the campaign.
Looking ahead to the summer, if Spurs end up looking to hire a new manager and don’t finish in the top four, it could well be in their best interest to have a big shake up and see Levy get rid of Paratici and bring in a new director of football.
